The Best Spring Break Ever!
ReplyDeleteThe best part of my Spring Break was going to the Fairmont hotel in Chicago!
At the Fairmont, I got to have a suite and two other rooms with my friends. When we got into the suite we saw grapes and other fruits there, so I ate a grape. Later, on the TV, I saw that only people with suites can only have fruits.
Another reason why the Fairmont was so awesome is because we were accepted to go to the lounge that is on the 15th floor. That was a great opportunity because the last 5 times I've been there, we were never at the lounge.
The last part that was awesome was that we got to see Lake Michigan. I was so happy to see that lake as if it were a part of me
The Fairmont felt like home.
I went to the Fairmont hotel in Chicago!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of going to New York is was going to Bounce!
There are all types of games like, dodgeball, basketball, regular bouncing and more!
Bounce! is a place where you jump on trampolines in games. There was one part I did not like at all,it was in dodgeball , I was throwing balls at someone and he cheated a lot! I hit him but he pretended he was never hit.
Did you know that people who work there always let birthday kids in first even though I got there before them? So,this is what happened,I was coming in line to jump on the trampolines. Then they let a whole party in even though they were at the side where you come out and not where you come in,plus I even got there first.
1 of my favorite activities is cube jumping.Cube jumping is when you go on a trampoline and jump into cubes, you can do backflips frontflips and other tricks. The pit was really deep I think I saw a kid and he could not get out! I hated the line it was about 9 feet long
Another one of my favorites is the basketball, it not just ordinary basketball ,it is trampoline basketball! You play the same but you just need to jump on the trampolines.Once a boy jumped and slam dunked the ball but he fell in the basket with it and somehow he got stuck. Almost the all of the people who worked there came to help him!
there was one thing I could not do, it was bungee jumping!I really wanted to do it but my parents said no because it costed an extra 8 dollars,so I could not do it .
And this was My Best Spring Break Ever!
The best spring break ever! My very favorite part of my spring break is when me my family and my grandparents went to sedona arizona. although it was 63 degrees outside and it was 3 hours away it was pretty fun. this is my story. First we rode three hours and got to a place to get directions. Then we had to go to a shop to get ideas on what to do. We decided to do a pink jeep tour. I did not want to. Lucky for me the pink jeep tours were all out of jeeps intel 4:00 remember it took 3 hours to get there and the tour was 2 hours we would get home at 9:00. so we looked for another jeep tour. we found a safari jeep tour so we headed to that place. we found out a cowboy was driving us up the rocky bumpy mountain so we headed towards the mountain. I sat in the back so I would bump around everywhere. the driver mike asked if I wanted to be the navigator even if I did not know where we were going. Mike said that he calls the navigators sparky so I was sparky for the next two hours. when we were driving up the mountain there was a gazzillion rocks on the path. I bumped up and down the whole ride. we stopped a couple times. mike was especially the funny one. Then we rode back and ate dinner.

ReplyDeleteMy Spring break memory is going to the Aquarium. I saw sharks, stingrays, jellyfish and all types of fish. My favorite part was seeing the jellyfish. There were moon jellyfish and colder jellyfish. [ There were more. But that's all I remember.] I never saw a colder jellyfish at Shell aquarium, even though shell aquarium is bigger than the one I went to it still had a lot of neat stuff. At the aquarium there were penguins and turtles to.My memory of Spring break is the best.

ReplyDeleteThe best part of my spring break was hanging out at the water park. There were 5 slides 2 body slides 2 tube slides and 1 very well known slide called the toilet bowl.
The body slides are meant for racing and are enclosed. The tube slides are just like the body slides just with the tube.
The toilet bowl slide makes you go down a steep tube that shoots you out and then you spin in circles after that you go down a little tube to the end.
PURE EXCITEMENT

My spring break memory that will last forever is my friends came over for a sleepover!
Saturday, March 29 2014, we had a sleepover! Once everybody came we decided where we were going to sleep . I mean you can’t just sleep on the floor right? You can sleep on the floor, well us girls decided to sleep downstairs in the basement on the couches!
We watched TV ,then we ate dinner . For dinner it was pizza, spaghetti or rice. After, eating we all took a bath. Then watched a movie ,while doing self portraits.
Once the movie was done we all had to go to sleep. So, my sister slept on the 3 seater couch with my friend Lisa. My friend Ashley1 sat in the 1 seater chair .My parents pushed the 1 seater chair by the 3 seater chair . I slept on the 2 seater couch with my friend Ashley 2. We just stayed where we were because ,it would take so much space pushing it all together.
It was a fun night and I also had a wonderful spring break ever!

I had the best spring break ever! My most favorite activity I did was go to Shedd Aquarium.
The first thing I did was touch a starfish. The starfish was very rough. Some of the starfish clinged on to rocks. Others were at the bottom of the water. I think the starfish at the bottom of the water were shy.
After that I went to a jellyfish exhibit. I learned that a jellyfish’s mouth lets waste out and let’s food in. I also learned that they have no brains, blood and bones! A lot of the jellies were unique in one way. I saw a jellyfish with dots on them! I also saw a jelly with a tiger- print pattern.A few of the jellies were clear.
Later on my dad and I watch a show called One World. First, we saw some dolphin tricks. They would do flips in the air. Next, we saw beluga whales. The belugas swam backwards. Next, we saw a sea lion copy everything their instructor did.
My most favorite thing to do there was watching a 4-D movie. It eased me when I felt the vibration under my feet. Sometimes It would sprinkle water at me.
I really enjoyed Shedd Aquarium. I hope you go to this amazing and beautiful place!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite spring break part was sleeping on the trampoline. My dad helped us make a fire.My mom bought us sticks, marshmallows and gram crackers.we cooked them and made the food into s'mores. In the middle of the campfire my mom and dad left us with a big bottle of water for us and the fire.
We sucked out for a while and played with are friends until we dropped of course we did not sleep there we sneaked back to the trampoline that is why I had the best spring break ever!
ReplyDeleteMy spring break memory that will last for ever was the tower of terror at Hollywood studios.
you go up and down really fast. it feels like you are free falling and you get the tingles sometimes its scary sometimes its fun.
Best Spring Break Ever!
ReplyDeleteThe Grand Canyon is the best spring break destination.
It is the largest canyon in North America, it is 18 miles wide at widest point, and 6000 feet deep at the deepest point. It has rocks that are millions and billions of years old.
You need to go to the grand canyon because the sights were amazing the colors were incredible and if you get lucky you can ride a mule to the bottom of the canyon. Also there are telescopes that you can look through and see special features of the Grand Canyon. My favorite part was going to the edge and looking down into the Grand Canyon.
I had the best spring break ever!!!When I went to Jamaica we went zip lining and got held up by harnesses and we zipped down the line to the next stop the longest slide was 600 feet and we were 1200 feet above sea level. And then we got to a station where we sat on a rope and slid ninety feet

ReplyDeleteMy spring break was so fun!
My favorite thing to do was to go horseback riding with my sister and my mom .
My horse was called Chico, he was the most fun horse of all and just picked for me a day before.
One of my favorite parts was when we went super fast! I also liked the part when we were going near the ocean so the waves would go under us.
When we went uphill was a part I liked because they went fast up
hill.
While we rode we saw different types of plants and trees for example one is the ylang ylang tree. Others were coconut tree, cotton plant, cactus and the jasmine tree. There were mango, banana, and papaya trees too.
I really enjoyed going horseback riding in Vieques, Puerto Rico.
The best spring break experience in the class should be mine. I went to Georgio’s to eat lunch with my mom. We got the best seats in the house, the one with a window that you can see though to see the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I had a great meal with very good food. The corn dog I ate was definitely not the frozen type you buy from the store, and the appetizer came really fast.
Another good thing was the television. I could watch March Madness on all the televisions and I did watch it.
Last thing. I got to watch the chefs make pizza and it was very cool. I saw all their toppings each in a container. Also I saw the humungous oven they use to cook their pizza. It had real fire, like a fireplace.
After all, it was a fantastic experience to go to Georgio’s to eat a really great meal, watch March Madness and see the kitchen, oven and pizza being made.

ReplyDelete“Is this going to be about, (yawn, ) a plain old zoo thingy?“ Of course not! This article is about everything but that! Join me on an adventure to one of the greatest zoos ever!
One of the things I did for my spring break was go to the Lincoln Park Zoo.
It is located just north of Chicago and right next to Lake Michigan.
However, this zoo isn't just any old zoo, it is one of the largest zoo-based conservation programs in the country!
There are so many things to see at the zoo! Here are a few animals.
Birds
Bald Eagles
Chilean Flamingos
Barn Owls
Domestic Chickens
Mandarin Ducks
Ostriches
Snowy Owls
Trumpeter Swans
Mammals
Aardvarks
African Lions
Black Howler Monkeys
Egyptian Fruit Bats
Grevy’s Zebras
Hoffman’s Two-Toed Sloths
Naked Mole Rats
Polar Bears
Ponies
Pygmy Hippos
Spotted Hyenas
Western Lowland Gorillas
Reptiles
Caiman Lizards
Dumeril’s Ground Boas
Dwarf Crocodiles
Green Tree Pythons
Mexican Beaded Lizards
Spider Tortoises
Standing’s Day Geckos
Amphibians
American Toads
Axolotls
Dyeing Poison Arrow Frogs
Emperor Newts
Mudpuppies
Oriental Fire Bellied Toads
Solomon Island Leaf Frogs
Some of the exhibits have, for example, snakes or fish, but one of my favorite exhibits is the Regenstein Center for African Apes. This is because the Gorillas and Chimpanzees act like funny little human children, to my surprise.
One baby Gorilla was trying to wear some dry tangled grass as a coat; his destination - the tree - but the fuzz kept falling off and so the baby had to keep picking up the fuzz to put it back on. It was so cute and hilarious to see a baby gorilla behave like a baby human!
A few minutes later, I saw a chimpanzee in a hammock sleeping while another chimpanzee was sitting on a tree stump right under the hammock trying to wake the sleeping chimpanzee by poking him with his finger. Sure enough it worked and the sleeping chimpanzee jumped up and started tickling the other chimpanzee! Finally, the chimpanzee who started the whole mess got a chance to sleep in the hammock.
It was amazing to see how the chimpanzees and the gorillas were so much alike, and they are both so human-like too! I could have watched them all day!
At the end of a fun and busy day I was able to go to the amazingly fantastic gift shop and pick out souvenirs. All this right in the middle of urban Chicago. Next time you are in Chicago think about going to the Lincoln Park Zoo!
The Best Spring Break Ever
ReplyDeleteI had the best spring break ever! I got to go to the movies to watch Frozen.
One reason watching Frozen was the best is because I got to eat pop-corn and Veggie Straws. You just have to watch the movie, grab a bunch of Straws and shove them in your mouth. There’s no looking down to see if you are grabbing the right thing.
Another reason why going to the movies was good is because my family and I had the whole theater to ourselves. So that meant that no one could distract us while we were watching. Also there was no one to laugh in spots which weren’t so funny to me.
I also liked that the movie was animated. Animated movies really bring out the emotion such as sadness, excitement, happiness, anger and fun. Sometimes, I like to think about how I would react if I were in the movie.
Going to the movies are the best thing to do in spring break!
The Best Spring Break Ever! I just had the best spring break ever, snorkeling in the Caribbean Sea!
ReplyDeleteOne reason why snorkeling was the best spring break ever is because I got to hold a huge starfish that was 6 inches tall and 9 inches wide! It was bumpy and very heavy. Another reason why snorkeling was the best spring break ever is because I saw a school of mini Swordfish! I first threw some bread into the water and saw something whip around me. I turned around and saw a whole bunch of mini Swordfish eating the bread around me!The next reason why snorkeling was the best spring break ever is because I saw a weird thing crawling across the ocean floor. I think it was a crab but I’m not sure!
